Parkland Fire Station

Parkland, FL

CTA was the civil engineer and landscape architect for the Parkland Fire Station No. 42, with extensive native landscaping, solar lighting and associated parking. The state-of-the-art fire station is situated on 3 acres, and includes a 7,500 SF building, situated to retain as much of the native vegetation as possible so that the civil and landscape design worked harmoniously to recreate native habitats.

CTA worked closely with the City of Parkland and the design team led by ACAI to provide the City with an environmentally friendly and beautiful facility. CTA’s responsibilities included all civil & landscape architecture, including tree protection & relocation as well as irrigation.
