We are currently looking for both senior level and newly licensed Surveyors and Mappers for the expansion of our Professional Survey and project manager positions. These individuals will join the other five PSM’s in the company and maintain on-going projects, continuing survey and engineering contracts, assist in proposals and cost estimates, and will develop new skills or enhance your existing ones with our advanced technology tools. You’ll be connecting with and building new relationships with our long-term clientele and will help in maintaining them. You’ll also be an active participant in the Florida Surveying and Mapping Society as we fully support them.

This position is responsible for assisting the Crew Chief in the operation of a field survey crew. Minimum High school diploma or GED required. Must have two (2-3) years of progressive experience in land survey field operations and must be able to operate equipment, maintain safe work environment, protect and maintain the equipment and vehicles, accurately and efficiently collect field data and locate features using Leica Total Stations, Trimble\Ranger\Recon Survey data Collectors, and Trimble GPS Units. Good technical skills; Possess oriented behavioral traits including being honest, steady, helpful, analytical, a problem solver, likes working alone when required, methodical, consistent, detail oriented, precise, hates mistakes, likes structure.

Some overnight travel may be required. Position requires a lot of walking outside year-round through all kinds of terrain in urban & rural sites and in extreme heat and possible cold weather in South Florida.

Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. is seeking a qualified resident civil infrastructure (not structural) project representative/senior inspector with a minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering underground (water and sanitary sewer), paving, grading, and drainage inspection for our Palm Beach County and/or Broward County, Florida projects. We are looking for a senior civil engineering inspector to provide RPR/CEI services our governmental and private projects within Palm Beach County & Broward County, Florida.

Craven Thompson & Associates, Inc. is seeking qualified civil engineers with a minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience for the positions of senior engineer and/or project engineer (P.E. preferred).

We are looking for civil engineers to assist in the design and management of our governmental and private projects. We undertake storm sewer design, stormwater management system design, water distribution & transmission projects, sanitary gravity collection systems and transmission systems, stormwater master planning, stormwater pumping stations, lift station design, local roadway design and complete streets, and stormwater, sanitary and water computer modeling.

The successful candidate must have experience in the above areas of design, be a good team player, be able to produce the highest quality of work, have excellent planning, communication and problem solving skills and the ability to adapt to change in priorities and project schedules are just some of the required qualities.
